**This course is suitable for students who have alraedy taken Special Seminar 101 & 201. Please check with Kisyuu if you’re unsure which course if suitable for you before registering.

During this 6-week course, we will look at calligraphy art from different angles. Not only polish your writing skills, but also train your creativity by exploring different styles of calligraphy.

This course is designed to create your final piece for the Shodo Canada Competition by the end of the course (deadline is February 28, 2026); however, it is NOT mandatory to submit your piece to the competition in order to register for the course. Even if you are purely interested in training your skills to create your own calligraphy art, you are welcome to join us!
