Ready to take the next step in your calligraphy journey?

This 6-week course is designed for students who have completed the Beginner Course & Semi-cursive 101 course and would like to strengthen their understanding of both Block Style (Kaisho) and Semi-Cursive Style (Gyosho).

Rather than simply copying instructor samples, we'll explore the principles behind each writing style through guided exercises, analysis, and practice activities. The goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of character structure, stroke relationships, and writing flow so that you can approach unfamiliar characters with greater confidence.

This course is ideal for students who would like to reinforce their fundamentals, refine their technique, and become more independent in their calligraphy practice.
